Amúgy ezek sulykolása, a hús-vér emberek dehumanizációja, egy-egy jelzőre redukálása tudatos kommunikációs stratégia része: ork, "biotrágya" stb. De erről van szó akkor is amikor valakit más téren próbálnak meg emberi mivoltától megfosztani: a pedofilozás, pedofil-simogatózás stb. is ugyanezen célból használatos formula.
Normális, ép ember számára az öldöklés, egymás nyomorítása nem racionalizálható, ezért van szükség a háborús propagandában is erre.

ki is van kelve magából az ukrán követ: egyenesen azt követelte, hogy távolítsák el az anyagot. Pont az fáj az ukránoknak, hogy a videó a másik oldalon is ugyan olyan élő-lélegző embereket mutat mint ők. Márpedig a vérgőzös fanatikusokat nem szabad kizökkenteni, még észhez térnek.
Az ukrán követ kiakadására a csatorna hivatalos közleményben reagált:

The documentary is being seen internationally and is considered an important contribution to the reporting of the war. We believe Australian audiences also have the right to watch it and make up their own minds.
