Various media in the UK and Belarus have used an image dating from 2013 to illustrate what is supposed to be a Russian mobile crematorium in Ukraine. The fake image lent credibility to official Ukrainian claims that Moscow was using such vehicles in a bid to hide the extent of massacres in the country. Az elesettek kiadásában, vagy akár csak a halál tényének elismerésében pedig az ukrán hadsereg sem éppen jeleskedik: van ahol a 2022 májusában elesett katona családja mai napig nem kapott egy buznyákot sem, mondván, hogy az illető "eltűnt". A bajtársak igyekeznek támogatni a családot.
