Responsibilities:

  • Provision, configure and maintain cloud resources on Amazon Web Services platform
  • Configure and test scalability, high availability, security and disaster recovery of internal and external company services
  • Be responsible for maintaining our vendor relationships, and assisting with the decision-making process in selecting future systems
  • Configure and manage company corporate network, Active Directory, ADFS, VPN and VPC
  • Write infrastructure and vendor apps and services automation scripts for tools like Slack, Dynamics CRM, Dropbox, PowerBI, Xero and other
  • Configure system monitoring and alerting systems to ensure fulfilment of our product SLAs
  • Able to follow our established protocols and continuously improve them to leading practices within IT. Maintain company IT infrastructure, disaster recovery and security policies documentation
  • Shift work hours as required by scheduled projects and/or unscheduled urgent support requests


 
Qualifications & Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in administrating and managing Windows Server and Linux systems on AWS
  • Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, LAN/WAN network configurations and firewall configurations
  • Ability to identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS
  • Experience with Nagios, Munin, Cloud Watch, NewRelic, InTune and other system health and security monitoring tools
  • Experience with Cloud Formation, Puppet, Chef or other cloud automation frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good writing and communication skills for documenting processes and policies
  • Experience or strong desire to work in a modern highly agile and international team
  • Fluent with written and spoken English
